Hola from Quito, we made it safe and sound. A little plane trouble in Minneapolis so we waited a bit there making less of a layover in Houston. We have pictures on the way, but this computer still takes floppy discs ;-) Upload when we can.

Message to Lynn Kaiser: Guess who we met and flew with to Ecuador.

Anticipation for our departure is high. By next Sunday all of us will have had our sending services at our churches. Our team has received a donations needs list from Casa De Fe...specific items that are needed at this time. During the next week and a half we will all be fulfilling as much of that list as we are able. This is possible thanks to the hard fundraising efforts of the team and the support of so many generous people. Please pray that we all stay healthy during this flu season. On Wednesday, January 30th we will meet at Cormorant Lutheran Church to pack the donations and then head on our way. I can't wait to see the children, Patti Sue and the progress that has taken place since last year.         Rae

As of today, we are just three weeks away from our departure for our Mission Trip to Shell Ecuador.  Passports are in hand, innoculations have been administered and packing lists have begun to take shape.  The support of family, friends and church as we have been preparing for this journey has been remarkable and much appreciated.

Watch this blog over the next several weeks.  Join us in preparing for the life-changing experience our team will have.  Learn about the work we will be doing a Casa de Fe to shape the young lives of the children who live there.  Find out how the trip impacts us and the children at Casa de Fe.
